What does it feel like to work with me?

Jess is a kind and caring professional therapist, who is incredibly skilled at what she does. I instantly knew that I was in good hands, and felt supported all the way.

I chose to do 6 months of weekly therapy with Jess, and I can honestly say that it was one of the best decisions I have ever made. As if by some strange coincidence, the trajectory of my life began to change for the better, as I gradually developed the confidence to make difficult but positive decisions for my future.

I felt so lucky to find a therapist that made me feel comfortable enough to open up and process my personal challenges. I felt safe, unjudged, and heard. Speaking to Jess would often feel like releasing a pressure valve in my chest, where I'd allow any suppressed thoughts, feelings, and emotions to flow through me and into the world.

Talking things through made it so much easier to bring up what I was struggling with to family and friends outside of sessions. I learnt to accept myself and embrace the past as part of my journey.

When I started the therapy, I was really struggling to understand a lot of things in my life. I was loosing faith in myself, and the world around me. Jess helped me to unpick this and understand why, before supporting me with rebuilding my self-beleif and restoring my spiritual connection to the world around me.

Outside of sessions I would find myself recognising the unsupportive thought patterns in my head and letting them go, when before they would have overwhelmed me. I was guided with developing a personalised toolbox for dealing with mental challenges.

Jess recognised when I was confident and ready enough to step away and try life without therapy, leaving an open door to return at anytime. I learnt so much about myself and feel truly grateful for the experience. The journey never ends, but it is nice to feel optimistic and supported!

Thanks again Jess!
